The New York Times presented another amazing interactive feature back in June where you can mix and match alcohol to generate your ideal summer cocktail (or a drink using whatever’s available in the liquor cabinet).
Summer is almost over and I haven’t tried this yet, but it looks like so much fun I want to have a cocktail night! The one I created here is a Negroni, but a homemade Aviation or a Rosita sounds good too! Make your own concoction and let me know what you like!
1 1/4 ounces gin
1 1/4 ounces Campari
1 1/4 ounces sweet vermouth
Orange twist, for garnish.
Stir all liquid ingredients with ice. Strain into chilled rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange twist.
Yield: 1 drink.
