There are some people that just have a gift in putting together very creative & vibrant outfits, and Russian fashionista Miroslava (Mira) Duma is one of them.
The 26-year-old is the former editor of Harper’s Bazaar Russia and rose to international fame on the fashion circuit around 2009 and 2010 when she frequently appeared on street style blogs like Tommy Ton’s Jak & Jil and Scott Schuman’s The Sartorialist. Mira left Harper’s Bazaar to do freelance work and eventually founded Büro 24/7, a fashion news website.
Just from pictures you might not realize how tiny Mira is. It’s great to see such a petite woman rock crazy colors, bold patterns, and chunky necklaces like she does. She gets away with this because everything is perfectly tailored to her size. Mira knows what lengths work for her and is not afraid to take risks.
So if you see a blur of color and sparkle in downtown Austin this week, it just might be me trying to channel some Mira Duma.
