Here’s the 2nd post in my Holiday Hair series with José Luis Salon and it’s just in time to inspire me for a little get together I’m throwing tomorrow night.
Bellini
- Get a good, solid base by using a lot of product in your hair
- Separate the front layer of your hair and then tease a few of the sections behind it
- Cover the teased hair with the front layer you sectioned off, spray with hair spray, and comb up into a high ponytail
- Braid the ponytail (the stylist chose fishtail, here) and then wrap it around into a bun
- Use the hair tie as an anchor for securing the bun with pins
- To try a different and fun look, try putting in fake bangs
Champagne
- Put big rollers in your hair with the hair rolled towards the back of your head like a mohawk and also put them down the sides (see picture 1)
- Gently brush out the curls and see what sides the mohawk curls naturally fall to. This will guide your look
- Brush the curls out from underneath with a wide tooth comb to keep the volume
- Put pins in the dips of the front waves, spray like crazy (from afar), and let set until you are ready to leave
- Twist your hair up and under and then secure with pins for Champagne with a Twist
